Can you get a Scabies Vaccine?

Scabies is an extremely contagious skin infection caused by a parasite known as the mite – Sarcoptes scabiei. Symptoms of this infection include severe itching and rashes appearing along the arm, on the soles of feet, or across the hands or fingers. Scabies, derived from the Latin word scabere, is literally interpreted to mean "scratch." Pregnant females will find a way to penetrate the host's stratum corneum by burrowing into the outer most layer of the skin and depositing their eggs.
